that captures the essence of the mighty Bhagavad Gita and
retells it through simple dialogue and glorious song. Directed by Prabhakar Sathe.

o Saturday the 7th – CalAA presents Waaryaawarchee Waraat - a Marathi play, in which I will be singing. Cubberley Theater, 4000 Middlefield Road, Palo Alto, CA 94303; TWO shows – 1:00 PM and 5:30 PM
o Saturday the 14th of September through Sunday the 6th of October – NAATAK presents Gandhi - a grand musical in Hindi written and directed by Sujit Saraf, with music direction by me. Commemorating the 150th birth year of Mahatma Gandhi, the play captures the arc of Gandhi’s life and times, from his ‘experiments with truth’ in London to his campaigns in South Africa, to the civil disobedience movement he led against the British in India. The play spans 60 years, features a multi-racial cast representing Indians, South Africans and the British, and is presented with live music and dance, including tunes familiar from Gandhi’s life and the Indian independence movement as well as original music and choreography. o Saturday the 23rd – RSV TWENTY! Rajguru Sangeet Vidyaniketan will be celebrating its TWENTIETH anniversary! The annual student concert festival will feature Hindustani musical presentations of our glorious Indian tradition by students and masters alike.
