This concert is free and open to everyone.


o   Saturday the 2ndVyākrita: Under The Sacred Tree – a dance drama featuring excerpts from the many lives of The Buddha on his path to enlightenment - presented by Shreelata Suresh and her Bharatanatyam organisation Vishwa Shanthi Performing Arts as well as by South India Fine Arts; original music composed and performed by Asha Ramesh and myself; two shows - 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM - McAfee Center for Performing Arts, 20300 Herriman Avenue, Saratoga, CA 95070


o   Saturday the 23rdSwara Sanjeevini – a Kannada light music concert by the premier Kannada band Raaga, presented by the Kannada Koota of Northern California, the proceeds of which go to SSCF; tickets can be purchased via SulekhaCarrington Hall, 1201 Brewster Avenue, Redwood City, CA 94062



April 2019


o   Saturday the 6th – Gavi Gita: A musical drama that captures the essence of the mighty Bhagavad Gita and retells it through simple dialogue and glorious song. Directed by Prabhakar Sathe. I will be playing the role of Lord Krishna. o   Sunday the 21st – Concert to celebrate Hanuman Jayanti at the Sankata Mochana Hanuman Temple, 35463 Dumbarton Court, Newark, CA 94560; 2:00 PM; Ajay Sundar Raj (T) and Vignesh Thyagarajan (V.) This concert is free and open to all.



May 2019

September-October 2019


o   Saturday the 7th – CalAA presents Waaryaawarchee Waraat  - a Marathi play, in which I will be singing. Cubberley Theater, 4000 Middlefield Road, Palo Alto, CA 94303; TWO shows – 1:00 PM and 5:30 PM


o   Saturday the 14th of September through Sunday the 6th of October – NAATAK presents Gandhi - a grand musical in Hindi written and directed by Sujit Saraf, with music direction by me. Commemorating the 150th birth year of Mahatma Gandhi, the play captures the arc of Gandhi’s life and times, from his ‘experiments with truth’ in London to his campaigns in South Africa, to the civil disobedience movement he led against the British in India. The play spans 60 years, features a multi-racial cast representing Indians, South Africans and the British, and is presented with live music and dance, including tunes familiar from Gandhi’s life and the Indian independence movement as well as original music and choreography. Cubberley Theater, 4000 Middlefield Road, Palo Alto, CA 94303


o   Sunday the 27th – Morning Concert for Deepavali at the Sivamani residence, 1055 Lily Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94086; 10:00 AM; Ravi Gutala (T) and Dilip Acharya (H.) This concert is free and open to all.

o   Saturday the 2nd – Vibha presents SUR SANGAM - An Indian Classical Jugalbandi between renowned Karnatic vocalist Hari Devanath and myselfOak Grove High School Theatre, 285 Blossom Hill Road, San Jose, CA 95123; 5:30 PM 



o   Saturday the 23rd – RSV TWENTY! Rajguru Sangeet Vidyaniketan will be celebrating its TWENTIETH anniversary! The annual student concert festival will feature Hindustani musical presentations of our glorious Indian tradition by students and masters alike.
