to Sunday the 25th Naatak presents Ramayan - a grand musical in Hindi, for which
I am the music director and lead singer, while daughter Ambhranee
Yakkundi is a singer as well as a harmonium artist in the play. Ramayan is
a beautiful adaptation of the original Raamcharitmaanas
by the 16th century poet Tulsidas. The show
features melodious music, vivacious dance, brilliant acting, gorgeous sets, and
lovely stage design - all superlatively adapted, written, and directed by
the indefatigable Sujit Saraf.

Sangeet Vidyaniketan, in which my students will perform along with many
other talented musicians. Staying in tune with tradition, I will perform for
