to Sunday the 4th Naatak presents Bombay Talkies 2 - In this
sequel to Bombay
Talkies, our 2023 musical, Raghu the clapper boy continues his waltz through the
Hindi film industry of the 1960s, 70s, 80s, and 90s, assisting in shoots and
song sequences, serving as chauffeur, gateman, teaboy, and confidante, and secretly
shaping the careers of Lata, Kishore, Rajesh, Amitabh, Aamir, Shah Rukh, and
others. A feast of more than 50 songs and dances and tidbits about films, Bombay Talkies 2 is
a romp through the Hindi film industry, capturing its glitz, glamour, and
insouciance, its soul-stirring music, and its complete detachment from the
world that sustains it. The play will be performed with live music and dance. I
am music director, lead vocalist, and I have a major
acting role, the last of which will be my maiden venture into serious acting in Naatak! Cubberley Theatre, 4000 Middlefield

concert of our Rajguru Sangeet Vidyaniketan,
in which my students will perform along with many other talented musicians.
Staying in tune with tradition, I will perform for the finale. The
Garden House at Shoup Park, 400 University Avenue, Los
Altos, CA 94022, starting at 1:00 PM. This concert
is free and open to all!
